DUO INSIEME

was formed in 2018 out of a shared love for chamber music and mutual friendship. Its members, the violinist Karol Lipiński‑Brańka and violist Dorota Stanisławska, are active as solo and chamber music performers and teachers. The duo focuses on Romantic and contemporary repertoire for the violin and viola, presenting both pieces originally written for the two instruments, and meticulously arranged transcriptions. The ensemble regularly performs at festivals and prestigious concert series. The artists eagerly participate in expanded projects including an orchestra, the organ, or piano. A concert by the Duo is an excellent choice for organisers who seek high-quality chamber music and a small, flexible ensemble, ready to play both festival and philharmonic concerts, and give performances in small historic halls or sacral interiors.

ANDRZEJ SZADEJKO

was born in Gdańsk in 1974. He is an organist, composer, conductor, teacher and organologist. In 1998, he graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Warsaw from the class of Joachim Grubich and in 2002 from Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel, where he studied under the instruction ofby Jean-Claude Zehnder. He also studied singing with Richard Levitt (diploma with honours) and composition with Rudolf Lutz. His other important teachers were Andrea Marcon (harpsichord) and Gottfried Bach (basso continuo). He took part in over 30 organ, harpsichord and pianoforte master classes and interpretation courses across Europe. Since 2006 he has been teaching organ and basso continuo at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk, Poland. He gives lectures, runs masterclasses and workshops in Poland, Germany, Finland, Latvia and USA. In 2021, he was conferred the title of Professor of Arts. He was a finalist and prizewinner at numerous international organ competitions in Poland, Belgium and Denmark, and an awardee of scholarships granted by many Polish and European institutions. Since 1994 he has given over 700 concerts in Poland, most of the European countries, and the USA. He is the leader, consultant, and organ expert in many projects of historical and modern organs in Poland and Lithuania. He is the leader of GOLDBERG BAROQUE ENSEMBLE (www.goldbergensemble.eu). His output includes numerous recordings (35 CDs) by Polish and German labels. In 2022, he was awarded the OPUS KLASSIK prize.

Moreover, he is a composer of organ, choral, and chamber music, with publications in Polish scientific and musical journals. He is also the manager and artistic director of many musical events in Gdańsk and Warsaw: i.e. festival ORGANy PLUS+ (www.organyplus.com).
