OLIVIER EISENMANN was born in Zurich. He studied piano at an early age and worked as a pianist for many years. In addition to completing his doctorate in Phil.I at the University of Zurich and organ training with the organist of the Hofkirche Eduard Kaufmann in Lucerne, Olivier Eisenmann devoted himself to an international career as a concert organist. He has been invited by the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie (Tonhalle Zürich), the Deutsches Bachorchester, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Staatsphilharmonie in Košice and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, among others; he has played at renowned international organ festivals, including the Lucerne International Music Festival (at the KKL), the Festival d’Avignon, in Palma de Mallorca, Naples, Rome, Verona, Turin, Ghent, Antwerp, Bonn, Berlin and in almost all major cities in Poland. He has also been invited to Iceland, the Baltic States (Riga Cathedral, Vilnius, Tallinn), Minsk (Philharmonic), Moscow, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Ukraine. Tours have also taken him to the USA (e.g. New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Seattle), Mexico, South America (São Paulo, Montevideo and Buenos Aires), Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong. He lectures on organ music at university institutes worldwide. In addition to radio and TV recordings in 15 countries, he has released 12 LPs and 10 CDs. He received the “Weggiser Rose” from his community of residence for the foundation and artistic direction of the Weggis Sunday Concerts. In addition, he was honored by the Cultural Commission of the City of Zug with the Honorary Award of the Zug Cultural Sash 2022 for his “International Zug Organ Days”, which have been held for 40 years.
